Whether you have an inkjet printer plugged into your Mac, a laser printer plugged into your router or even a network printer, if your Mac can print to it, we can share it. Is your printer plugged into your AirPort or Time Capsule? No problem. Printopia translates for your printer, allowing it to speak to your iPhone or iPad even if it’s not an AirPrint-compatible printer.
Printopia also adds a “Send To Mac” option to your network. This virtual printing option will save a PDF or JPG file directly to your Mac. No need to waste paper or expensive ink cartridges next time you need to print a confirmation page.
Dropbox.com users can print PDF and JPG files directly to the Mac’s Dropbox folder. Dropbox will take care of syncing your printouts for access anywhere you go.
System Requirements:
You’ll need Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6 on your Mac. Your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch will need iOS 4.2 or newer and must be AirPrint capable. (Older devices such as the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and 1st and 2nd generation iPod Touch do not support AirPrint.)
Apple’s Mail, Safari and Photos app have AirPrint support, as do the iWork apps Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Your Mac and iOS device need to be on the same Wifi network in order to see each other. The Wifi network must be compatible with Bonjour.
We can also set up printing natively from many HP printers and All in Ones!
